Can buy those glass suction cup lifter to mod it.

super safe, you might pull the whole window out and the lifter will still stick on the glass.

It's to be used with Sony action cam AS-30V. So it's not advisable?

After you press to expel the air, the suction cup will hold. However as you move around under the hot sun of ours, the trapped air expands and the suction effect is lost... Look at the number of "fallen" GPS and handphone suction mounts that have detach off the wind screen and you know why

was very close to purchasing this late last year, then i remembered about camerarental. Called them up and was told that they have this in their inventory. Perfect, since i only need it for one time use.

If you're in the same boat as me, renting is the way to go. If you think you will utilise this alot, then just buy this one.
