where i can get my watered W5 repaired?

My W5 was watered, by sea actually. Sony Service Center refused to repair unless I pay $400-$500 to the parts. $400 - $500 already means a new W5 liao.

i don't know if the main chipset is corrupted or not. Is there any private camera repairing company can do the check and repair if possible?

if salt water got in...
the circuit board and connection will erode.

imho: dun think it will be worth to repair even if you can find a 3rd party repair.
there wouldn't be any further warranty as well.

needa buy new camera.

btw, any shop is buying faulty digital camera?
