Where are you ... local Big Guns?

I can't help wondering why the sponsors for all the successful Big Events belong to the foreigners: the HKSB Wakeboard World Cup, Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, Mobil, Shell, Mercedes, etc....
Local giants, Singtel, ST, DBS, UOB ...... all trying hard to be global corporations but still going for the small events?
You sponsor peanuts ... you get peanut-size results.
Wanna think big, must act big mah!

i think if you loan that doggie to the local big gunners, they wll change their mentality in no time.
