I can't help wondering why the sponsors for all the successful Big Events belong to the foreigners: the HKSB Wakeboard World Cup, Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, Mobil, Shell, Mercedes, etc....
Local giants, Singtel, ST, DBS, UOB ...... all trying hard to be global corporations but still going for the small events?
You sponsor peanuts ... you get peanut-size results.
