Wear the No. 4 , when you go for macro shoots? it will match your gaffer tape too ;p

Donate to Army museum? Esp if your helmet is the Steel pot generation one, and your sbo is the canvas sotong type. ;p

Otherwise I think the current camo no.4 will become quite fashionable after the new "digital" one becomes more common.

Keep and donate to those wanting to do Army-themed shoot ..haha

Anyone know if the SAF helmet is street-legal for motorbike? Otherwise, i can't think of any other practical reason to keep it.

I doubt so. The army bikee ppl don't wear the standard helmet when they out riding also. Got to change to the bikee helmet for riding.

One Dollar Suggestion:
Keep it and wear it on National Day hehe

Else

Throw away whatever you don't need. But keep the boots, very good for hiking
Helmet wise is good to CLOBBER un-expecting XMM and drag them home by their hair. haha

The SAF helmet is intended to block bullets and shrapnel and not so much shocks and blunt force, which is what the motorcycle helmet is intended to do.

No, cos it does not have this ...

And one more thing, it is not aerodynamic enough. :bsmilie:

Thanks for all the creative replies...

Anyway, called the Chervon emart and they do take back whatever you don't want and properly dispose off (they said return to SAF).

i kept my boots and mod my no.4 pants to Bermudas
kept my helmet, still thinking of what to do with my SBO and full pack

maybe i'll give them away

convert to camera backpack..saw Denniskee's version...very stable

I am still doing my 12th cycle or more( cannot remember), but even when I am done, I shall keep everything I have, from my Temasek Greens, jockey caps, green, brown, blue berets, all 20 uniforms, and 6 pairs of boots.

It is a reminder of all the blood I shed, the tears of sadness, joy and friendship I enjoyed through all my training.

Any here from Gryphon 1989, or OCS Delta 1990?

i think most would remember shedding extra weight most!!
