18-200VR FTW!!!
Since D200 sucks a lot of battery juice,
I would buy extras batteries...
If you don't mind the bulk size, then I
would encourage to go with a battery grip too!

The lenses u planning to get are all not cheap.
if you want one lens to fit it all for ur travel convenience the 18-200 is a good option, slightly cheaper than the 12-24mm.
I agree it is not easy to keep changing lens and shoot especially when ur wife is not into it.
Either she is super supportive somehow. Else i doubt many will have the patience to wait for you to do ur stuffs.

So share your experience with the 24-70 on a honeymoon. I am sure that there are many here who would need to consider that for their own honeymoon in future...:bsmilie:
The new 24-70 should be a sweet lens to try. i guess ur definition of cheap is abit different hahah :bsmilie:
