What lense is the best for landscape??

Just got my FM3A;p , and wondering what lense I should choose for landscape shooting, any recommendations?

It depends on what sort of landscapes you want to take, anything from 17mm to 300mm plus works for me.
 

I personally feel that telephoto lens gives more emphasis & prominence to landscape photography.

Wide angle lens, on the other hand, helps to exaggerate the perspective to good effect but are not as easily mastered.

IMO, wide angle landscape photography works extremely well finding/using interesting foreground (such as rocks, pebbles, boats etc) to lead viewers' eyes to the main focal point and the background.

Whichever your preference, mix well with both types of lens to add some spice/change to your landscape portfolio.
 

If I were you (but please don't let that influence your selection), I would personally go for the "extreme 2":

17-35mm or 20-35mm or just 24mm prime

and

70-300mm or 80-200mm

But again, always bring your tripod!
