picture sharpness depends on too many things to list. the camera body is the last thing to affect that.I have used my friend camera and notice the photos taken are not as sharp as fuji s3pro... anyone used song alpha cam?comments pls
I use Shutter mode.... i think that why...picture sharpness depends on too many things to list. the camera body is the last thing to affect that.
if not due to settings, it could be the lens.
shutter mode doesn't affect. prolonged shutter duration does, in terms of handshake and subject motion.I use Shutter mode.... i think that why...
You should have gotten yourself a KM 7D instead then. The KM 7D although only has a 6MP sensor but it satisfy all your wants you've listed. Anyway, do you really need the high MP? I'm happy with my 7D.Aoart from the good points in the Alpha, here are some bad ones I find:
>> camera body, built a bit too small for my comfort
>> too light and plasticky
>> lack another data-dial
>> no original vertical grip
Saw one at Peninsula last week but the price is too steep. Can check with MS Color too.Ya man... frankly, I orginally went looking for the Dynax 7D...
Anywhere I can pick up a new one???
Take a look @ roadshow in Vivo. Cannot comment much about photo....except the focusing speeds:thumbsd: :thumbsd: :thumbsd: really slow...CMII have used my friend camera and notice the photos taken are not as sharp as fuji s3pro... anyone used song alpha cam?comments pls
It's above $2K.Huh? Peninsula? I already condemned that place! Never going there ANYMORE!
But how steep, is it??
I'll check with M S Color..yes indeed!!

Which lens you use plays a great part.Yea the focus speed very slow... also the pic not fine enuff to see some photos image like hair strands unlike Nikkon D2X....
That is not a valid comparison, please.Yea the focus speed very slow... also the pic not fine enuff to see some photos image like hair strands unlike Nikkon D2X....
What lens did you use? Let me guess... The A100 was on the kit lens, the D2X was on a high-end lens?Yea the focus speed very slow... also the pic not fine enuff to see some photos image like hair strands unlike Nikkon D2X....
This statement alone tells me that you have no clue what you are talking about, and as such your statements have no value.I use Shutter mode.... i think that why...
A540 is better than D2Xs leh... at least it doesn't break my bank and my back... :thumbsup:That is not a valid comparison, please.
You might as well compare D2X with my Canon A540 and say that Canon A540 sucks bigtime because cannot see image and all that.
If you ask me, you seem to be more interested in stirring up some Sony pride trouble more than anything else.
Have you looked at the cost of D2X? Have you looked at the cost of A100?
Some review sites out there have even explicitly stated that A100's image quality is one of the best out there, so I have no idea what you're trying to get it, because:
Well, you aren't an official reviewer, and I would put my cents into an official review site more than you. In fact, just looking at your thread title suggests that you aren't very diplomatic in the first place. And now name-dropping other cameras names, and of all things, a DSLR in a totally different class more or less confirms it for me, so I thought I'll speak up now.
In any case, one shouldn't read too much into how superior a camera is, etc. Knowing your camera, and being comfortable with it, and most importantly of all, USING IT TO MAKE PHOTOS, is far more important unless you are in the professional business. Which I don't think you are in, not to be sarcastic or anything. I base it on the comments and display of knowledge you have shown so far!
not very sure...I think most possibility is the kit lens...:think:May I know which lens, what aperture and what light condition (e.g. indoor or outdoor) you used to come to the conclusion that the focusing speed is really slow?
amen to that.:bsmilie:A540 is better than D2Xs leh... at least it doesn't break my bank and my back...
also don have to worry about shutter count, sensor dust, $ for lens, $ for accessories, no big big liveview LCD...
