Instant film backs are used to check lighting, exposure, fine tune composition, rearrange sets and props, and to evaluate color. Its functions is similar to today's LCD screen in the digital camera.

It's use to shoot an instant preview before you shoot your slide.

cs tan and yqt thanks alot for your great advice.:thumbsup:

if i am sure of the meering, then there is no need for me to buy a polaroid back....:D

Pol helps to give you some assurance instead of reshooting due to misjudgement. Looking at this another way, even professionals use the pol back for confirmation when they have the expericence to judge expousure, control lighting and good light meters.

So an investment in a pol back may be a good idea.

RB67 Pol back may not fit on a Large Format cam

Poloroid also allows you to shot on different pol film
which has a different "feel"

Just like shooting on different types of film
