Thank you for info on plamp. Thinking to get it one for hold the difuser  (for flash).

Velbon one is heavy ha... . Is there anything like that, but only move in one direction, lighter and cheap  ?

Arto.
Wern't you thinking of buying the Nikon R1 Kit?

the kit includes an arm to hold the diffuser (also included)

Still can't decide which one to buy. Exploring another possibility. If can find cheaper (with the same function) why not? And looks like R1 is not sell separately (can't buy discrete).

Complete kit R1? I must balance between my meal and hobby  .

Arto.

if you add the cost of the plamp, diffuser and other stuff
it would come to a small fortune

the kit is the cheapest already
buy the R1 (not R1C1) from overseas, it is cheaper

If it were a focusing rail for macro where are the bellows?

Focusing rail for macro dont need bellows. The rail actually shift the whole camera + lens forward and backward instead of using the manual focus on the lens. Macros DOF is very shallow so the focising rail helps to control that.

Cost of Focusing rail should be in the region of $100 +/-

Sorry for my ignorance. Never used such a thing before, always had the luxury of using a bellowed macro set-up. Makes sense now that I think of it.

Thanks for enlightening me.;)

I look look at CP peninsula today, there is similar thing like that.
2 axis around $120, 1 axis around $80 (IIRC, after discount, forgot to asked whether inc GST or not). Don't know whether need additional quick-hot release or not?

Yes, the clamp is $77 at CP.
