Actually it's about $12.50. And in the region of 15km (i estimate), not 25. I think they didn't update their cab price list since 2005 :bsmilie:
 

UBS conducts a study of purchasing power world-wide every few years. In the 2009/2010 report our price levels is just behind London but Singapore have a lower purchasing power than Kuala Lumpur. After such a debacle and causing major embarrassment to the establishment , Singapore has been mysteriously taken out of the UBS 2012 Report.

We should just stop comparing as it not making life any better for us. Better not to know and just work, just hope dun kena slapped by boss or pay deducted for being late.

KLites are struggling with very high cost of living. Economy rice can easily top RM10.

Really ? Last year I can have chicken claypot for RM 7 in an office canteen in city area. Of course shopping malls have diff prices.

my area, Kepong. outside of KL. think of it something like Jurong, except without factories.
2 veg, 1 meat = RM10. this is normal shophouse.

Their average household income including salary and wages are also going up, harder to recruit Malaysians here nowadays.
