KUDOS for the truth you're willing to share!

Most people, especially ladies, don;t want to know the truth, even (and especially) if it hurts them, or their bodies. That's why slimming centres continue to make millions of dollars every year, and too many 'beauty centres' still offer under the counter 'beautification' treatments which lawfully require a mediaclly qualified practitioner to perform.

A lot of people have a psychological weakness - they will sweep under the carpet any thing which is unpleasant to them - be it issues of life's reality or hard work.

I am now a grossly over-weight 'thing', but never would I subject myself to the seductive lies and 'easy-way-out' commercialism just to experience temporary (and unbalanced, unhealthy) vanity. I would do it the proper, and healthy way through dietary modification (NOT starvation as that can lead to an entire host of long-term, irreversible medical conditions and permanent organ damage) as well as level-headed exercise. I have already started.

I doubt if many Singaporeans would give up their white rice, chix rice or mee fan for boiled potatoes. ;p

As the old saying goes - anything worthwhile is worth working for ... and if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't (true).

Sharing ideas, experiences and chat about things related or un-related to weight loss can only be positive to one's wellbeing. Through it, we find we all have a common problem- staying healthy and presentable. Yes, issues affecting our commitments :dunno:

Even though we failed in our numerous attempts of 'keeping fit', we will not be so disappointed(alone) coz we know there is someone like us ....still trying :sticktong

Healthy is wealthy, not only in the body...but in the mind !



Please, if you dun like the weight loss thread(s).....all you have to do is STAY AWAY from it lor. After all, it was started by someone who has only an IQ of 92 :bsmilie:

for the other region of critical mass... i wouldn't call mine a peck, and most girls wouldn't even think of it as peck... at least for mine... :bsmilie:

heard that do too much body building, the critical mass will become a insignificant mess... is it true?

This is a myth... muscles do not get turned into fats...
However if you starve yourself by not eating or eating very little, u will be wasting precious muscle tissues. Starvation to lose weight doesn't work at all - u lose water, not fat

Correct method - eat six small meals a day, go low carb, high protein diet. Excerise intensvely from monday to saturday (alternate between cardio and weights), sunday is cheat day (eat all you want). If u can maintain this regime, confirm can lose those inches in 3 months.
