Webshot website will plant spyware?

Hi, tried sending a friend to view photos which I posted in Webshot and he sent me back this reply:

"this website will also plant a SpyWare "Advertising.com" in the your browser in order to view the pictures, end result is very nuisance advertising pop-ups banners."

Anyone aware of this?

Ok, think i get it.. probably talking about the downloadable Webshot program and not through simply accessing the Webshot web.
