Waterproof, Shockproof PNS reviews

Looking to get a waterproof and shockproof camera. I think there are a number on the market.

Olympus, Canon, Sony, Fuji and Casio.

The Sony DSC-TX5 looks like a candidate. Between these brands, which is best for in terms of image quality. I would expect to be taking it for travel and people, and also a bit of dinner photos too, so a flash would be necessary. Any suggestions or user reviews appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like Panasonic Lumix and the Canon are the best. But I wonder how they will stack against the new Sony.
