Hi,

Shot this waterfall in Yunnan. Supposed to be one of the larger ones around there. This is the silky water which everyone likes. :D

F1000001_web.jpg

Nikon FE, Tamron 35-70 f3.5, Polarizer.
Aperture Priority, f22.
Fuji NPC160.

Shutter speed was like 1-2s, I think. Can't remember.

did you use a tripod?

Yes, can't possibly hand hold at 1-2s. MF lens, mostly mechanical body without IS, VR, USM, AF, 45 AF points, etc. ;p

Setup tripod on the viewing platform, put polarizer to reduce the light, stop down all the way, and shoot.

wah nice one....quite a success u haf.....mine isnt tt beri pro....tink u guys saw it b4....mine is too over-exposed....

It's easier to do it with an SLR with a full range of apertures, relatively slow film, etc. :)

For digital, you just have to try and try. Can see results on the spot.
