Waterfall in Yunnan

Hi,

Shot this waterfall in Yunnan. Supposed to be one of the larger ones around there. This is the silky water which everyone likes.

Nikon FE, Tamron 35-70 f3.5, Polarizer.
Aperture Priority, f22.
Fuji NPC160.

Shutter speed was like 1-2s, I think. Can't remember.

Yes, can't possibly hand hold at 1-2s. MF lens, mostly mechanical body without IS, VR, USM, AF, 45 AF points, etc. ;p

Setup tripod on the viewing platform, put polarizer to reduce the light, stop down all the way, and shoot.

It's easier to do it with an SLR with a full range of apertures, relatively slow film, etc.

For digital, you just have to try and try. Can see results on the spot.
