Water closeup

After reading CK's guide and saw Siron's post, I decide to try it out...

It's on a B&W shot, just that, the background is bright in color

Not bad! Would be better with a darker background so that the drop can stand out though.

yeah, that what I felt too. But, oklah, first time trying, just took abt 30 over shots, if not becos battery flat, I'll take somemore.

Your shot is good liao.. only make it stand out more by the backgrd.. But you'll there liao!! For the first attemp. wow I say. I've posted a different kind of water flowing at

i tried taking again with dark background but, didn;t turn out nice. guess luck is not with me today.....

no tripod, sitting on the edge of the sink...

won't give up one... maybe when I get a tripod, I will focus it nearer, my cam is abt 15cm away from the tap though

maybe try to variate more in creativity?

It's good to practice this kinda shots..train you to focus and most importantly..PATIENCE!! Agree? hah

Off flash?? If so you must have very powerful lights shinning on the water source...or long shuttle speed but then the effect will be gone...think abt it..will have it's nice part too huh?
