SINGAPORE: Police have arrested seven boys aged between 12 and 15 years old, suspected to be involved in two separate mischief by fire cases.

Five boys between 12 and 13 years of age were arrested for setting fire to a piece of paper outside a unit on the second floor of Hougang Green Shopping Mall.

They were detained by the mall's security guard.

Two others, both 15 years old, were arrested early Monday morning near Blk 72 Marine Drive.

Police said their preliminary investigations revealed the two boys had out of mischief, set fire to paper and cloth at the playground, resulting in some damage to the playground's facilities.

All seven have since been released on bail pending further investigation.

Actually, I don't know is it like to them learning science in school? :think:

Because in the past, for experiments relating to fire, it is a teacher's demo. And students will be curious.
This MAYBE a cause on why they like to play fire?? :dunno:
