Urgent advice needed....Grey set ??

Hi,

Just came back from Tin Cheung (HK),
Wanted to get a Sigma lense.
Was told it is a grey set and have no warranty in HongKong & Australia,
but he say that i still CAN claim warranty at any Sigma Service center outside HongKong & Australia.

I saw the Sigma warranty card in the box, look similar to my other Sigma len's warranty card from Sg.
Anyone can advice if that is true ?

care to share how much they quote u for the grey set?
was thinking of getting the above lens in hk too

Will check out the 30 1.4 if i go back for my lense.

the svc centre say calibration is not-chargeable.
Hopefully that is the case.

Sigma 30 f1.4 > hk2880 (appr. S$550) grey set.

:dunno:I seriously doubt it is claimable. That's why it is Grey set and the Sigma here is a distributor why would they want to service an item that wasn't sold by them in the first place.

I may be wrong but that is my understanding.
