Ya, they are more European than we think. My guide eats pork and drinks. Wherever I go, people drink wine and beer. And they take their dogs for walks like any one else that I know.

 Nice pics you got there. Thanks for sharing.

I know that in the schools and universities, it is against the law to cover the head and face.

I saw something very interesting which we should adopt in SG. Their traffic police lifts illegally parked cars on a truck and send them to the pound. No problem if the car cannot be towed.

I agree with the earlier post -- your P&S puts my DSLR to shame

Thanks for sharing... These are really mavellous...! :) You really brings the landscape fragrants of the country. May I know roughly how much you would spend as a backpacker in such trip?

The cost was cheap for us as we stayed in quite cheap hotels, the first for my wife and I. We even stayed at one hotel which cost US$5 per day. However, entry to the attractions are very expensive, as much as US$30 per place. So if there are 2 people and you visit 2-3 places per day, it can quickly add up. I took a private tour to the east, so that included a car and a driver plus all accomodation and food. Plus the air balloon, it can quickly add up again.

Very nice picture. Thanks for sharing. I was there in 1996, when there was still no digital camera yet.
