From experience, there are 3 categories of people
1. With low budget
They tend to end up buying the U8000. Becoz its less than $100 for a tripod + head and this tripod is pretty tall. Enuff for their height (except adamgoi
)
2. With low budget but wants a good tripod + head
They tend to end up buying the Manfrotto 190B. With a 308RC ballhead. Both are excellent piece of equipment. For those tall guys (like adamgoi ), the manfrotto 055 is a better buy.
3. Unlimited budget
Well...... CF tripod and arca swiss lor...... :what:
