I would like to buy a tripod for my FZ5. The problem is, can i use that for D50, which i am going to buy in the near future? Any tripod to recommend? Cheap and good. Thanks :)

try 330dx... sprint pro doesn't work so well if you are going to use d50 with a rather heavy lens. i got this 2 cam tho i haven tried putting on a heavy lens but i don think it will support well.

Whatever the brand, whatever the model, buy a good one. It will last you a long time.

Can i get a good one with my budget is around $300?

Shld be more than enuff to cater to your needs.

Try the Manfrotto 190ProB with a 486RC2. Total setup shld be less than $300.

Cheers

What if i lower my budget to $200?

That setup I mentioned is slightly over your budget by alittle.

You may like to get an e-quote from CP.

Manfrotto 190ProB + 486RC2 Ballhead should be able to fit ard your budget.:)

Manfrotto 486RC2 at $80 from TK while 190ProB from AP, CP, etc.

Thanks for reccomendation. I went to AP last friday and got myself a nikon tripod stand with a ballhead.. Quite satisfied so far! :D
