Tokyo & MT. Fuji

Camping too. This must be the most expensive part of the whole trip....

pic 65 Before we almost gave up, HERE IT IS! Although can't see 100%, I am very satisfy already. People say only 有缘人 can see it. I am happy saw it at the very first time.

I am guessing the amount of excitement and the fumbling of camera settings ( i know i would) to capture this elusive mt. Beautiful and detailed thread you hv! Wish to visit this place soon !

Thanks Zig Ziggler. Yes I wish you can feel my excitement when saw MT. Fuji. It is so beautiful when the such MT. appeared in front of you. We reached the park at around 3pm, can't see the mount at all. Till 430pm, the lower part of the mount started to appear. I was so excited that I forgot to choose the best lavender area to shoot as front ground. Wish I can combine the two photos together.

Before I start to post my photos later tonight, let me post a photo which downloaded from the hotel official website. I guarantee you will go to the same place when you see this photo.

nice..cant wait for more photos.

:)

When we finish our sightseeing at the lavender park, we took the last bus at 5pm. The bus stopped outside of the hotel, as there is one of the view point of Fuji.

This hotel has direct view to Fuji. Every room has Fuji view! Image when you wake up next day morning and open the window, Fuji is just in front of you! Simply the view already worth the money paid!

Our luggage has been picked up by the hotel from the tourist information centre and put into rooms!

The room rate we paid included dinner. The friendly reception Japanese auntie helped us check in. She arranged everything, including dinner time, next day morning hotel shutter bus to sightseeing points, discount coupons... Her English is good enough to communicate.

pic 70 the view from my hotel room. Sadly due to thick cloud, can't see the Fuji. Please image yourself that the far far way thick cloud there, there is Fuji.

The hotel has in room and roof top hot spring bath, which I posted a photo earlier(downloaded from hotel website). Image you sit in the hot spring bath and looking at the Fuji at the same time?! I did! The two places are rotated between male and female guests. The night I stayed the roof top bath was for male. My wife brought kids to another side for female guest. So I sit in the roof top bath and looking at the Fuji in the night sky. Of course can't see anything. Haha. I met a Japanese man when I just walked in. He was quite funny and taught me what the procedure of hot spring bath. His broken Japanese accent English was quite hard to understand. But still can guess what he said. He said the bath should be naked. You can use a small towel to cover the man "important part" if you are shy. But if your thing is "big big", then "ok to show show". Very funny guy. We talked a lot under the dark sky. Really enjoy.

pic 83 After bath, we took a walk at the hotel lobby. Kawakuchiko is a small town. Mainly all hotels. We thought to walk walk outside hotel. But every where was dark. So we gave up.

pic 84 The official poster of Kawakuchiko Herbel festival. When the weather is good, can see it is so beautiful. We saw the flowers, but not the blue sky.

Next day we were at the around of Kawaguchiko Lake area. Enjoyed the different view of Fuji (Although sad to say that we didn't see Fuji due to thick cloud). More pics coming...

The dinner looks good. I am looking at the Shuhoukaku Kogetsu or Fuji Lake Hotel for accomodation in this area. Is this hotel the Shuhoukaku Kogetsu?

The last day of my tour. We were travelling around Kawaguchiko Lake. Hotel check out time is 10am. So we had to check out before 10am. Hotel was able to send our luggage to the tourist information centre. We can collect it before we left Kawaguchiko Lake. Hotel shutter bus sent us to Kawaguchiko Musical Forest Museum, a very European style garden.

Thanks juric. Yes it is a amazing place. There are 5 lakes around the area. I am thinking to go back again during autumn or winter time, to get a different feel.

My last stop of Kawaguchiko Lake tour is this small Mt.
