Hi All

just would like to seek an advice before i buy the tokina 28-70 f2.8 is this a good lens? because as i read the reviews it seems to be a normal performer, but quality wise? may i know wats your experience with this lens, with regards to its weight i really dont mind the weight factor...

is the 28-80 already out in the market? $?:think:

does the tamron 28-70 better?

The 28-80 f2.8 is out. The Tokina lens are built like a tank. Please note its quite heavy.

i used to own a tokina 28-70 f 2.6-2.8 pro 2 for nikon mount....

imho its built like a tank and gives fairly good image quality.... but i feel that it works better on film cameras.....

You will hate the AF noise.... it's like operating a dish washer.. Hard not to get any attention from the person you are trying to snipe a shot on.
