Hi All! I'll be going to Japan, Hokkaido next month and it'll still be snowing.
Would like to ask for tips regarding winter photography as i understand its tough to shoot in such conditions.
Any advice on camera settings as well as precautions to take for my DSLR?
Thanks!!:D

There are MANY threads on precautions to take. However, for actual shooting, I'd suggest you remind yourself of metering issues as cameras easily get confused by the stark white snow, often underexposing and giving your images a weird greyish look. Another thing I think many people forget about: Shoot as though it is raining. Avoid letting the front of your lens get smudged with melted snow.
