Hello there. I think it's a rather nice shot! =)
But I find that the sky is extremely distracting (try it for yourself: cover the sky with your hand and see the difference), so you might want to crop that part off, or you photoshop to clone it away.

Good shot, apart from what is mentioned IMHO somehow the tree bark does not seems too old to have the impact intended ie. thru the years.
