not really. i am still using CCD sensor (D300). Night shots are still good with it. LE mounted on tripod, and keep ISO low.

*paiseh... my mistake.. my D300 is using CMOS sensor... LOL

only my D70-IR is using CCD sensor.. but noise is still manageable as long as i don't pump up the ISO too high

Lol the a230 still use the old school a200 generation's ccd technology, so really bad noise management. Now my house e skies alot of f15s flying here and there zz
