Frankly, the best way to judge AF performance is to get out there and use the cameras. Use it enough and you'll know how good the AF is, and whether it's up to the task of what you need it to do.

Hey, why not? However, could you be kind enough to loan out your equipments? Sadly, many of us here do not have more than 1 camera.

Isn't that enough? Some people doesn't even have food.... ;p

Seriously, don't compare. Can only make things worse. All of a sudden, you want the better lens and start to lust for it..... that said, do not try high end equipment. You will regret it.

Zoomer, that is enough. You've touched a raw nerve, and it'll be best if you think about what you've said.

Frankly I'm sick of this baiting and sniping of Jed; he has more experience and practical knowledge than most of the idiots around here, yet time and time again I see that he's been ignored, rebutted and even ridiculed by people who should know better and people who have no clue what they're on about. Learn to let go of your bloody ego and listen to decent advice.

On the other hand, if you people wish to stick to your current level of mediocracy, both as a person and a photographer, you're certainly most welcome to do so.
