Actually, any gimbal with encoder can compensate for off- balance set ups. It just drains batteries.

I'm not an expert on gimbals but this video shot on 135mm zoom is quite amazing.
The Nebula 5100's 2.5kg weight limit is a strong indication of a torque that is more then capable of steadying a 80D to such an extent.
