Seizing functionality without fuss
Covering a normal zoom range of 18-55mm focal length*2, both lenses provide a natural viewpoint of getting close to a subject or capturing landscape compositions. Being unobtrusive and discreet, yet quick to seize a shot, they utilise stepping motors to drive autofocus performance, positioning these lenses as the first AF-P lenses for Nikon DLSR cameras. Additionally, clarity of each shot is enhanced with utilisation of aspherical lens elements that effectively suppress various types of aberrations. A VR mechanism engineered with the AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR also gives a camera shake compensation equivalent to a shutter speed effect of 4.0 stops*3 faster to help further minimise any effects from sudden external movements.
Grab and go
Both lenses are a breeze to carry on travels and do not take up too much space in a backpack or luggage. Retractable barrels fitted into each lens’ compact build contribute to keeping the lenses portable and ready for any photography adventure.
