For commercial home user, where accuracy is not so important, it should be ok for the price. Just my thought.

Given the accuracy of normal table salt, it may be better to just leave the hygrometer alone anyway. There is really no point in trying to calibrate the hygrometer using the table salt. Just use a second hygrometer for second opinion. As long as it is within range from both hygrometer, it should be quite safe.

Heh. Bring out your gear to shoot more often and you won't have to worry so much about your dry box working or not. Fungus ain't going to grow on something that is being brought out on a regular basis. Follow APAD
