Test photos using my new FZ8

I think I'm a bit of an impulse buyer...walked into Funan and two hours later, came out with a Lumix FZ8! I'm a total newbie when it comes to prosumer cams. My previous cam was a compact Canon A530 but I wanted to upgrade to something that had some of DSLR's capabilities and yet would be easy for me to use.

I don't have delusions of being an Ansel Adams one day :bsmilie: I just enjoy the process of seeing a pretty object and taking its photo to the best of my ability.

So took out the new baby during lunchtime for some shots. Please bear in mind that I didn't really fiddle with the settings as it's a test run! I mainly played with the macro and zoom functions while remaining in P mode.

welcome to the Lumiz family. Like you, when i 1st purchased my FZ50, i oso go around testing shots in P mode.
Now, i'm learning the trade with the M mode.
