Hi all, I have opened a new online gallery and it is titled, 'temples of cambodia'. Click on the image above to access the gallery.
Shot entirely on location around Siem Reap, these temples are part of Cambodia's national history. They depict the glorious period of the Khmer rule throughout Indo-China. In this series, I try to show in my photos, the rawness of the temple grounds and relationships and simple geometries these ornate temple structures bear to the subconscious minds. The texture and grain of the stones used in construction are punctuated occassionally by the appearance of a local. I hope to return one day to visit this magnificient place once again.
