i am using tamron 70-300mm F4-5.6 BIM cos budget so get tammy instead cheap and good just $250 BN and there a macro from 180 to 300 onwards no regrets but if you have more budget get the Nikon 1.

what about selling your 18-105 and get a 18-200VR?
save you the hassle to change lens.
