Hi to TS and the rest of you. It's my first outing with TS and it was enjoyable. Thanks to the guys n' gals and the Bon Fire committee(Didn't know there's such a group actually). Hope to join you guys again when possible.

You guys' shots are fantastic, I love them all. As for me, here's my version.

Butt butt butt, yu managed to capture details in the flames! I remember how hard yu were trying!

Donch worry, it was the thougts of the D700 dat distracted yu! Too seductive liao!

Nice captures by all... never easy to shoot bonfire but i see alot of great shots here. Especially Royaux shots... all sharp and detailed! Long exposure of 2-4 seconds? Increased sharpening? :thumbsup:

my shots are all in the range of 1 to 2.5 seconds at f/5. then use CS3 to darken the background a bit to bring out the flames more.
maybe i'm just lucky to get those nice patterns. :bsmilie:
