Tamrac vs Lowepro

dats true. but, i side TMC for this. kata is really 'loud'. ;p

still, IMO, in order of preference, i'll prefer kata, tamrac, tenba and lowepro (in dat order). billingham is pricey-ly stylish, i must say. nat geog bags looks ruggedly stylo-mylo. for now, i'm using kata and tamrac backpacks cos IMO they are best for my needs... my back is killing me. ergonomics matter.

Eh? What happened to crumpler? They have loud and soft colours - something for everyone. Haha.

oh.. I have not been looking at Tamrac... Any good backpack models that I can look at? Where is the best place to get a tamrac?

TK prices are way better. Check the materials they use, some are military spec.

Just passed by TK photo. Price for the Adventure 9 are like.... Errr....... About 20% higher that the lower one I got?

Never mind.... Person was not that helpful anyway... Will wait till end of month to get from MS... Unless someone wants to let go 2nd hand??

Hi

Any one knows the price for the Adventure 6 & 7 and which shops have the camouflage one?

I have a question for those of you that bought the Adventure 9. I've read that it can attach a tripod with some extra straps, how does it do that? Is it carried vertically or horizontally?

Thanks!

I wanted to buy the Adventure 9 but from my research I am quite sure the tripod is to be strapped horizontally at the bottom and the straps are not included. That's why I am not keen on this bag.

However, I kinda like tamrac style of day/camera pack and I am thinking of getting the Adv 7 as I like its size better.

Hope this helps.

I started with a couple of lowepro.. fits well for my manual focus film body and lens..
but when i put in my digital body and af lens.. it starts to bulge out..

then i found tamrac, solid build, fits my stuff well and it's weather proof for light rain.. but test with heavy rain.. ;p

definitely prefer tamrac vs lowepro

Hmm, don't really like to carry it horizontally, hard to manuver around. Will have to go down to a shop to try it out and see I guess.

hi cichild

not sure if the price is still the same but i bought the 5546 black for 108 in jan this year. but imo, it is rather small. as a day bag for a holiday, the upper compartment was rather small. but well maybe guys carry less stuff. :P

get the 5547, bigger..and cheaper too.
