Tamaron 17-50 Non VC for d90 problem

Hi all,
i m planning to get this lens as it is widely recomendded.. but in some forums i constantly hitting on this message"This Len is with build in motor, is suitable for nikon camera body without motor. Eg D5100, D3100....."
i know that D90 has body motor so will it be a problem in using this lens ?any disadvantage? i m newbie in this plz advice

Nope... There's no problem when being used with the D90 at all. 'The build in motor' is for auto focusing.

The built in motor will still be used if u put it on a D90. Nikon's mid range and pro camera bodies will use its own built in motor if the AF lens did not come with one, such as those AF-Ds from nikon and non HSM from sigma.
