As to how big its going to get, dont know yet, I will go this saturday morning 9:00am to do a study on the no. of camera needed for the trial first. From there, we can have a feel on the rescources needed.

Anyone can coming to help? Pls bring camera + 50mm + tripod. Will not be shooting.

Guys, after discussing with Darren, who had agreed to help us into achieving the goal, I will need below info from you.

1) nic and actual name of photog ("shooter")
2) nic and actual name of their backup ("buddy")
3) camera setup
4) indicate camera is a "pre-wind" or "post-wind" type
5) a column to indicate which saturday they are not able to shoot

item (4) is to split them into 2 groups to avoid difficulty in stiching processing cause by the frame sequencing.

item (5) can help to plan for both trial and the all out shoot.

I suggest we still register as per how we are doing and use this thread for Q&A.

I will start another thread to cater for this info, which will be transfer to excel manually by him.

Bro andy1704, nathanlogic and sis dolpjki, can I request for you guys to help out in the info management together with Darran?

IMO, I do not favour the use of cable release. most guys dont own one. Compact zoom camera dont use cable release.

Dont think cable release is necessary as all the cameras will be mounted on tripod and we are not taking BULB..... Am I right?

So decided, cable release not a must. But pls feel free to use it if you want.

As for metering, Can the pros pls give us some advice. My objective is to freeze a moment in time, so I think is ok for 2 adjacent image to have a bit of difference in EV. But will that cause difficulty in post processing of the slides and scanning of the slides?

Also, I porpose to do a general calibration of all camera by metering the same subject. But will need a good meter for that. Can someone bring it on both days?
