So far, I love my 100mm f/2.8L Macro lens! I can't think of one reason why I would regret to own it.

The Lens is an extremely fun lens to use. It combines excellent image quality with a useful focal length, a relatively small/light body, fast/quiet AF with 1:1 (1x) macro capabilities - and HIS (Hybrid Image Stabilization)...:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I have too many 50mm liao... 1.2 and 1.4... dunno leh... I think my anti-virus still strong... But they say 58 Nokton is one of the best portrait lens for the cropped sensor....

These last 2 days I was thinking of selling all I have. Just keep the D300s + 50/1.4, then buy a D700 + 24/1.4, and maybe a 16-35VR (for landscapes)

No prizes for where that thought came from...

Anyway, finally, I will be planning for a shoot sometime in Oct or Nov.
As discussed with ZCA before, it will be a car shoot at a nice location. Still images instead of video. Since, this is my first organised shoot, I will keep the number small and probably only open to the SunChaserSG members for this first one and see how it goes.

To all SunChaserSG members who like to have nice images of their car....you still have time to repaint your car in the colour you always wanted or just simply get that dream car.....

Haha, my car all scratched up already. Don't really maintain the body coz only see it as a means of transportation, not status symbol. But i don't mind shooting others' nicer cars! Count me in! :thumbsup:

Waiting for new Astra to be launched, then can look-see look-see... but the thought of paying for a brand new one and suffering all that depreciation... scary man...
