Official opening ceremony (7 June, 5pm) will be officiated by Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon, Mayor of South West Community Development Council District MP for Jurong GRC.
Reminisce about the good old days during this June holidays through the traditional games of yesteryear! At Games People play, immerse yourself in a fun carnival atmosphere with an exciting variety of indoor and outdoor games, sports, stage performances, plus eye catching novelty stalls and mouth watering food to satisfy your hunger pangs after a hard day .at play!
There will be:
1) Telematch Relays
2) Traditional/Kampung Game Stations
3) National Rapid Chess Championship organized by Singapore Chess Federation
4) National Weiqi Tournament QuiPing Cup & LanKe Cup, organized by Singapore Weiqi Association
5) Hands-on Scrabble Workshop organized by Singapore scabble
6) Contract Bridge competition organized by the Contract Bridge Association
7) Board Games & Miniature Games Showcase by Paradigm Infinitum & Games
8) Othello Workshop organized by the Othello Assiciation (Singapore)
9) Chinese Chess Challenge organized by Boon Lay CC Chinese Chess Club
10) Chi Dynamics Workshop & Demonstration
11) In-line skating Performance & Free Trial Lessons conducted by Inline Culture
12) BMX Freestyle Contest & Demo by Taman Jurong CSC
13) Mini Dragon Boat Race organized by the Singapore Dragon Boat Association
14) Tree Climbing Demo & Lessons conducted by the Singapore Trees Climbing Association
15) Stage Entertainment: Karaoke, singing, belly dancing, folk dancing, band performance, wushu/martial art demo and variety shows
16) Food & novelties stalls
