Hi all,

I'm looking for a new compact digicam to replace my current one (my avatar :)) Originally was considering Olympus SP-350 but I heard that the picture quality is not that good and from a review, picture taken at the widest angle is a bit blur?

Budget: Less than $800
Requirement:
- Manual controls
- Optical view finder
- Not too big in size, somewhere around the size of SP-350?
- At least 3x optical zoom
- Memory media and batteries not a concern

Besides Oly, any cameras from the Sony or others fit the above requirement?

Thanks for any help :)

Hi both,

Thanks for your suggestions :)

I will try to check out the price of S80.... As for the F11, when will the camera be actually released ah?

Heard F11 will be out during Sitex? Am also checking it out then... wanna buy it if the manual controls are reasonably up to my expectations... Then again, I might just get it for it's power ISO... haha!
