Yes, their calls are quite nice. I read that at one time this species was quite rare but seems like it's doing quite well now. They can be seen in many places in Singapore. That's good for Singapore's bird life.

It used to be endangered but I believe they have done quite well and it's not as rare anymore.....

Thanks Hiker! Yeah the laughing thrush can be aggressive.... it was my first visit to BBNP; and from what I see the bird life there quite rich, hope it stays that way. Will sure to return to BBNP for more. :)
