Storing the SLR

i have doubts about how should i store my camera.

because i normally leave it in my room(no dry cabinets) and there are days where i switch on the aircon, so i wonder does this change of temperature will cause fungus to grow? since i read that fungus can grow within days/weeks, but unsure how they will grow.

else what should i do?

The best is to store in an electric dry cabinet.
If you do not have one, at least temporary store it in an air-tight container with silica gel, and replace when necessary.
Since your aircon is not on 24hr, the air in your room is still humid.
