Still worth buying camera equipment in Japan?

With the yen so high is it still worth getting camera and lenses in Tokyo?

Yeah, just got back from Tokyo and didnt get any thing from my wishlist.

A month ago it was around 1,000Yen = S$13

Now its 1,000Yen = S$15+

Better to get your stuff from home sweet home
