Sony vs Minolta fisheye lens?

Is there a reason to prefer the Sony version to the Minolta version?

I only know that the Sony one has rubber focusing grip, vs plastic for Minolta. Any other difference?

Although the Minolta one is expensive (2nd hand), I presume the Sony one is even more expensive?

AFAIK, they are basically the same lens. Sony's fisheye is a re-brand Minolta's fisheye. You may want to check out other fisheye lenses from Sigma.

By the way, if your camera is not FF, then better get Sigma's fisheye lens.
