sony Dsc H50 Lens Filter Question

hi i have jsut purchased Sony DSC H50, now i want to buy the Lens Filter. Sony Original Lens filter is expensive, there are many other brands cheap lens filter. Kindly tell me that is it recommended to use other brand lens filter. Is there any effect of camera pictures if i use cheap lens filter???

No problems, but the sony filter thread is 74mm, and standard filter sizeis 72mm. So you'll need to buy a step-down ring (about 10 SGD)
