Your shots at Vietnam is much better than
those u took at Sg Chinese Garden.
I'm wondering whether there is a relationship between
good photography and places that are nice.

No 1 and 2 are nicely captured with beautiful color and contour.
Keep shooting..you hv the potential.:)

It's difficult to photograph ladder field. Both the view angle from above and that from lower places don't looks comfortable for me, make me feel unbalanced and dizzy. So if I shoot ladder field, I would rather shoot the fields which are on the opposite mountains.

Besides, some redundant elements such as the trees near your position spoil the beauty of the pics.

The ladder field has been intensively shooted. It's hard to make breakthrough in this topic. Here are some examples

Some of the pics could do with some stronger foreground interest. The lack of foreground interest makes the pic a bit boring. Maybe by showing more of the (grasses??) as a foreground might creat a stronger pic(just my opinion). Also the distance haze in some of the pics sort of spoil the overall colours. The yellow fields can't really match the rest of the background's weak colours. Of course if you are there as a tourist, then it is hard to be there at a more appropriate time and weather.

Just my 2 cents.
