Third rock from the Sun
Hi everyone,

I have not been contributing much to the panasonic forum. Here are some of my recent humble attempts on the flight shots of some little terns (Sterna albifrons). Hope everyone would like it.

Setup:
FZ10 + raynox 2.2X TC + tripod, ISO: Auto, W/B: Auto, Mode: M, F5.6, 1/1000, external flash not used. Shots were PSed.

Cheers

Nice shoots... it seem that Raynox 2020 seem to be very high quality...

Keep up the good job and show us more pictures

Cheers...

Thanks Hong Jia. :) Comparing with my previous TC, Oly 1.7X, the optical sharpness of this raynox seem to be a bit on soft side.

Here are somemore shots to share:

Thanks for the kind words, tchuanye :) I'm also love your stunning insects shots.

Cheers

 Superb!!!

The darkened edges are due to photoshop to bring out the subject?
or due to the Raynox Vignetting?

I like them veru much..Wonderful shot  how long you waited? your timing is superb

Thanks for the comments, guys :)

rhair 78: Some darkened edges were actually trees and vegetation from far away (at least 30m away) and also due to the result of smaller apertures opening.

Club_De_Oldman: waited the whole afternoon (about 4 to 5 hrs) just to grab some of these shots. Kena sun burn and plenty of blood donation to the bugs.

Cheers

Yes. A teleconversion lens will help to extend the zoom range of your FZ cam.. But normally a tripod is recommended, coz your OIS (optical image stabiliser) for the FZ might not work too well with the extended zoom.

I read the above information from somewhere, I personally don't own any teleconversion lens.
hehe... :bsmilie:
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
