There are many issues on this 10D release that people should think about. Firstly, the street price is already US$1500. That would roughly be around S$2500-S$2700. The improvements? It can be quite significant for some, not major for others. You can read the list at DPReview and make an informed decision. As for the current D60 users, I too echo the question: Do you really need the 10D? Are you limited or restricted by a D60 that a 10D would alleviate or solve? Do you think your photos that you take will be better with a 10D?
Right now, some people don't seem to mind to spend S$3000 for a camera or make a loss of S$1700-2000 when they "upgrade" from D60->10D, have only used the camera for around 9 month. If you compare this to handphones, the handphone upgrades are cheap in comparision.
As for the D100 (disclaimer: I own one), there is some comfort that Nikon does not rush out with a product and preserve the owner's wallet

. Many talk/rumours over at DPReview on what Nikon will do: Firmware upgrade for D100s? Come up with a D100x that supports Firewire? A D1h/x replacement: D2 with a Fovean sensor? I personally don't mind paying say S$50-100 for a firmware upgrade if it provides some improvements. D100x? Without significant and major improvements, no thanks. As for the rumoured D2 which is
guessed to be priced at US$5k-6k with equivalent of 14-18MP, it is out of my budget.
So in my point of view, the D100's price will remain steady or a drop to match Canon 10D, but without a replacement, there will be no free fall like the value of a D60.
