where are those starfish, corel in the sea?

Hi Kamwai,

Unfortunately, my friends and I reach there at High tide (1st outing) , so no chance to see starfishes and such. Will try again some other day

Fellow photographers do take note of this point if you intend to go to Chek Jawa.

Hey, thanks for this post- I went at low tide (by luck) some time ago and wondered what it would look like at high tide.

Here are some snaps from my sister-in-laws point-n-shoot camera and a couple from my G1 (not great but nice to compare with the high tide shots).

At catfish (really small; about 6cm long)

Chek Jawa tidal plain with a nice storm over S'pore in the background

A broiled (quite dead) Horseshoe crab

Another view of the tidal plain (poor quality scan)- that's me on the right!

A starfish- sorry no polariser

Wow, this is a really good comparison. There is a great different between low & high tide.
