Sandisk....got 5 yrs warranty...but ex...abt $120 for 128MB.

Performance-wise all SM r the same.

another group of 3 brought 3 piece of 128mb also, tried so hard, die die also cannot bargin for $80.

Faster memory cards are more expensive.

Not too sure about details, but I suppose with a faster card, the images are saved more quickly.

yeah, but there is no speed specification for SmartMedia cards I think, unlike CompactFlash. The speed will depend on the controller/reader/writer inherent in the camera.

So I think for SMC the brand/price disparity accounts more for the quality and durability of the card.
