Singapore Zoo New Elephant Enclosure Preview

Thanks to all those that turned up for the shoot. Hope everyone had a good time.

For those that want to submit their images for possible inclusion in an upcoming issue of the Zoo magazine, you can submit your images (JPEG, TIFF) on CD during the next couple of SEEDs (next one coming up on 26th March thereafter on 9th April) - can pass the CD to either me, Simon or Jason.

Please mark your name and contact number on the CD (so that acknowledgement can be given if your image is used), and the naming format for the images should be:-

INITIALS-yyyymmdd-subject

Thus, if i submit an image of elephants taken today, i would name them as follows:-

DL-20030322-Elephant1
DL-20030322-Elephant2
DL-20030322-Elephant3
and so on...

Minimum image dimensions should be 2400x1800 pixels (enough to print 8R at 300dpi).

HOW SWIFT IS THY LENS...

Very funny. Now, there is going to be a huge debate between Canon's EF70-200 f/2.8L IS USM and Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8D G-AFS ED-IF Autofocus Lens.

After doing a small shoot out with Darren at the IT Show, I think that both lenses are equally matched.

I do hope that all Nikon users out there would agree with me on this.

I would like to thank Darren and all those who had organised this event shoot at the zoo. A wonderful shooting experience and pleasure shooting with clubsnap guys and gals (Dagger). An honoured experience.

Except for the part when my camera bag dropped onto the floor and completely damged my hard disk. Was a little sad about that experience, but Sebastian in all his humour cheered me up.
